Will geckos and newts eat my fish? Am

So, in my mazsive tank, id lkke to put some amphibians. I was thinking of adding axolotl , newts and gdckos. Will they eat my fish? (No frogs) Are there any amphibians that won't eat my fish?

Yes, they'd eat the fish. Your best bet would just to have inverts.

Oh ok. Any land-water dwelling creature in general that won't eat them? Its cause if the rainbow shark in the tank that if I put inverts, it will eat.

Rainbow sharks don't eat snails, ime......

yeah, but I don't really want too much snails...not even nerites coz I have nerites already and I just got them to help give the action to the tank............ Correct me if I am wrong, are newts poisonous ?

All newts secrete a toxic substance on their skin, but it's not always harmful to humans.

Hi, you could add axolotl but the problem would be that the fish might nibble on their gils-I had them and kept them in a species only tank with tons of ramshorn snails (grew those for my dwarf puffers).
I don't know of a water based gecko? Perhaps in the hundreds of types that exist, one is water based, idk.
As far as the axolotl's they are very gentle and are totally aquatic!

Thanks! I am adding a small land area, and I will put 1 turtle and probably a couple geckos. I may change the fish stocking a bit......
