i had 8 goast shrimp put in yesturday to help clean up around the place. i got a little bit leftover food on the bottom. they ate over half already in one day. problem is now i only see 4 of them. i do have a few hiding places in the tank i can't see.i don't think the cherrys are eating them, they looked at them at first now ingore them. 2 of they did have eggs they are gone either the eggs or the shrimp too.
has anyone ever seen cherrys nip or eat goast shrimp?

Nope. Most likely the shrimp are hiding. Cherry barbs are way too small to eat them, unless the shrimp are not fully grown yet.
