Hello all,

What have been your experiences with keeping cherry shrimp with Betta fish?
Will bettas eat adult shrimp?
I am thinking about adding some cherry shrimp to my 15 gallon planted betta tank.

Thanks in advance for sharing!

Depends on the betta. All my bettas have been fine with cherries. Though many other bettas will definitely eat them. It's a risk either way.

Depends on the tank as well. If its densley planted with lots of hiding spots, the shrimp should be good. Personal experience keeping cherries with bettas.

Mine ate my ghost shrimp. Took them awhile but yes they are capable of eating. Wether they do or not its depends on they fish and what you feed them.

Interesting! Thanks for sharing everyone. As the tank is densely planded maybe I’ll give it a try.
