I just introduced a piece of driftwood, and I heard bn plecos like the white fuss. Also, I won't have to pick up all the leftover crushed flakes from the ground. Will a 3" bn pleco bother live fry?

Most likely no. BN plecos are the mellowest fish I've ever seen and would only much on a dead fish.

They eat pretty much anything. The odds are against it but if they happen upon one they won't turn it down. But they won't actively chase them. In experience cichlid parents are very protective of their fry tho so if they're in the tank I would be more concerned about the BN.

The bn will not eat live fry unless the fry is ill and not able to move away (aka it is pretty much dead the pleco is just starting clean up early). I have had no issue housing bns with other fry.
