I don't know it is counted or not, but I photoshopped a picture of sparrow with a landscape taken in Middle Summer. The result is not bad at all for me

This little Titmouse flew into my window. It was dazed and confused, so I set it on this piece of wood to recover. It stayed for about a half hour and then flew off.

I've always loved these garden spiders. I like how their markings look like a face.

Saw this garter snake in the path while on a dog walk.

My neighbor's chicken isn't wild, it just thinks it is.

Wildlife photos are from my backyard and the seasonal wetlands that back up to it. (as are the turtles in my Avatar!) Yes, I have done some fish collecting here.

A buck eating some of our flowers.
An Egret eating a frog.

Nothing worse than running into one, lol. Cousins who lived on a farm had them all around the barn. Us city cousins would go visit and invariably I'd get a head full of web. They're spectacular on a dewy morning though with sun sparkling off of the water droplets.

I saw two the other day feeding along the side of the road on a deer that had been hit. Then, later that same day, I saw one along with a horde of crows on a raccoon. It must be pretty great to live near a busy road if you’re a vulture lol.

Giant insects aren’t giving you a break lately. :D

Bwood22

This was the biggest one of these Ive ever seen.
That's a screen door at my parents' house. I walked out one morning and he was waiting for me.
His abdomen is as big a round as my finger.
His legs are like 3-4 inches long. (I keep African Cichlids, i can measure 3-4 inches with my eyeballs from across the room)

It's a garden orb weaver or a golden orb weaver. I get the 2 confused. One of them is this spider and the other is the Charlotte's Web spider.

I’m not too scared of spiders, but if we had ones of that size around here, I would be.

Pretty common at least in some parts of the US this time of year. We had 2 or 3 spots in our garden where they woukd set up when i was a kid. Sometimes we still get one or two that set up on our clotheslines.

Im fine with spiders as long as I can see them.
I'm KOS with black widows and brown recluses.
Or any spider that I see crawl behind something in or around my house.

But this one here should be in a pet store or something. He's massive. Ive seen full grown tarantulas smaller than that.

Guessing the cool snap we had this week drove him indoors. Maybe put out some brochures for Mexico, hope he gets the hint.

I have tried that before, they don't listen.

Well in that case it might be best to just abandon the house and head for Mexico yourself. I want no part of that spider.

Usually when i see this type, they about half the size, so i don't want to know how many small children this thing ate!
