Wild Betta/ sorority owners, help

What wild or how many female bettas can live in a 40 breeder, what tank mates? I can’t make Coca Cola water nor do I want to. I’m also open to Paradise and gourami types. What tankmates can live with em too, I have been paying attention to my betta a lot more and he is very interesting

How many bettas can be in a tank that size?

I have 9 female bettas in my 29g along with other fish. I would say get
12 female bettas
12 neon tetras/other schooling fish
10 corydoras

 

If you're going with wild Bettas, it really depends on what species you want. Not only that, but sororities may or may not work.
