Why is my tetra so fat?

Hey I have this one tetra that looks pretty big. Just wondering if it's neon tetra disease or carrying eggs. No scales are sticking out and don't believe it to be constipated. It is the second from bottom.

I have one that gets that way regularly. He was a pig/thief in his past life. He eats so much and steals flakes from bigger fishes mouths. After my fast day each week he's back to normal

It's possible he's getting more food than the other fish. But it is still a possibility that it is constipation. How do you rule out constipation?

He/she (can't tell them apart) does not seem to be stealing all the food. They fasted for 2 day while I was out of town and is still big.

Try feeding them green peas that have the skin peeled off. That works as a laxative. If its constipation it may need assistance to be cured

Will green beans work the same?

Fed peas but still can't tell any difference in the fish. Did not feed them today. Maybe there will be some change in the morning.

Peas does help as it helps with their digestive system. When I would feed peas, the next day there would be a lot of poop everywhere lol.

Give it bit more time. If it's still the same then maybe it's a disorder
