Why is his belly red

Hello I've had my silver dollars for a couple of months now, but around last week one of them suddenly got a red colouration around his belly. He also got these beige dots on the top of it's body but I read that's normal for silver dollars. Is the red belly normal or is it something to worry about?

The extra color comes in for males during breeding season.

Does it come in for all males? Because I have 4 other silver dollars and none of them have the red

It comes in for males who are ready to breed, at least in that particular species. Males who are not ready and females would likely stay silver.

Best way to sex most Silver Dollar species is the shape of the analfin. Males have an extended section, making a sort of hump in the edge of the fin.
