Why is all my equipment failing at once!

Ok, so since this whole QT thing happened my budget has been very limited, so naturally all my equipment is failing. I have had a filter fail and now a heater is starting to act up. So not only do I have to buy these things but it is also taking like two weeks for these to be delivered. Why does this have to happen!!!

Darn it Murphy!

I am also feeling this burn atm, my 10 gallon filter isn't turning on unless I smack it really good and my heater in my 5 gallon doesn't seem to be working as it should either. Intended for a betta around 78-80 degrees is only keeping it around 74-76. Perfect timing.

This is why I always have at least one tetra internal filter in storage for each tank, you can pick a 40 gallon one up for like 15$ on amazon.

 

Ah, I'm really sorry. It's just typical isn't it? Seems to be happening to quite a few of us. My hot water and heating is bust and the landlord will not get it fixed at this time. So I'm struggling to heat water for water changes. Tank heaters take far to long to heat buckets of ice cold water. Currently boiling water on the cooker, hoping it doesn't mess with the parameters

I've never had it happen with fish stuff, but this is how our last freezer, washing machine and dryer departed. All within like 2 weeks of each other!

I looked 1 or 2 days ago and that with some samuraI soil were scheduled by the end of April. Maybe it's changed I'll have to check!
