Every time I think I fixed a problem in my aquarium a new one shows up T-T 6 months ago when i got into fishkeeping, it was angelfish aggression. After 2-3 months of solving that it became that 2 out of 3 of my angelfish were breeding. I got a new tank and in there went my spare angelfish with some new fish from lake Tanganyika. Then I got a betta which i fell in love with, everything was good and then I realized they can't go together. Then my angelfish fry started growing up so I got them a 10-gallon. But then my fish started dying off because of velvet. I started treating velvet only to have my angelfish in my main tank get hurt for some unknown reason. I shifted her to my 10-gallon fry tank, monitored her for 30 minutes to make sure she wouldn't eat any of her previous fry and called it a day. Only to realize this morning that she ate 3 overnight and that now I had to move my remaining 7 fry back to the breeder box where they might be stunted. WHY DO THE PROBLEMS NEVER STOP COMING T_T

haha yes I told myself I wouldn't get more than 2 tanks and that my 3rd tank would only be a temporary setup for my fry. I'm a high schooler so I can't afford to have more than 3 tanks due to the time commitment.

I sometimes think we need times when things aren't going well so we'll appreciate it when they do.

Seems like you always have to fix a problem.
Seems like the more tanks I get the more problems so I try and keep it simple.

Stable and peaceful tanks come because of the skill of the fish keeper. The fishkeeper develops those skills over a life long process of solving these kinds of problems. Experience cannot be bought (or even looked up on the internet). It must be earned and acquired over long times.

Peace

There will always be some sort of periodic problem to deal with in this hobby, but. . .

The more time we spend researching what we put in our tanks (fish, chemicals, meds, whatever) and maintaining our tanks, the less time we’ll spend dealing with problems.

Specifically if we find that our problem is not a problem...
