Why are my shrimp dying HELP!

EnderKing

Yesterday my shrimp was fine and this morning I found his shell and it looked like something sucked the life out of him. Help

ChaoticGamerCG

Sounds like your shrimp molted! They usually hide for 48-72 hours after molting so you might not be able to see them for a while. Shouldn't be anything to worry about. Just curious, are they housed with other fish?

EnderKing

Yes with 4 guppies but my shrimp isn’t molting it’s dead
And it’s not just the shell at the bottom of the tank it was the whole shrimp
The other one was picking at it
:( I just hope my other one doesn’t die too he‘s not moving around a lot and I think they might not have the right food but I can’t get more until Sunday :( I would if I could but I literally can’t

Someone HELP I don’t Know what to do
Hes still not eating his algae wafers

ChaoticGamerCG

Do you mind posting pictures of them?

EnderKing

Ok here’s a pic
And this is what I’m feeding him

Hi!
I don't know anything about shrimp but it's a pretty good guess they are feeling the effects of the nitrogen cycle.
There are some links for you to read in your guppy thread.

Good luck!
