Why are my java fern leaves developing black areas?

Hi. I have a 16 gallon tank with a plant-specific T8 fixture and a Finnex stingray. It's on a siesta schedule, 6 hours on, 4 off, 4 on. The water parameters are ammonia 0, nitrite 0, nitrate 5. Some of the java fern are developing black areas (see pic) while other leaves look pristine. Any ideas on what's wrong and what to do? Is this a nutrient deficiency? (I added 1/4 dose Seachem Flourish comprehensive for the first time this past Friday).

How long have you had these plants? Have u moved them at all? I have a big bunch of java fern and when ever I move them to a new spot (only did once) they wilt away and then recover. When I first got mine they wilt away and then grew back again. Give them time they will make a comeback :)
