Why Are My Fish’s Eyes Cloudy?

    I got a pea puffer yesterday and her eyes are pretty cloudy. I want to know why

    There are a lot of causes of cloudy eyes.
    You'll get better responses if you include some more information. :)
    Water parameters
    Notice any other symptoms in this fish or tank mates?
    Where did you get this fish? Was it from a reputable source and receiving decent care prior? Was it shipped?
    If you have a quarantine tank, some causes are infectious so you may wish to quarantine.

    I was at pet supermarket yestaerday to get ghost shrimp for cleaning and I saw this one tank with dead and dying fish. Besides the live bearers. It was a brackish set up so I picked her out out of sympathy. Knowing she was freshwater. She’s more active for sure but the eyes

    Poor thing.
    In those water conditions she probably contracted an infection.
    Quarantine would be ideal, so as not to infect your other fish.
    It may clear up on its own now that she's in a healthier environment. Maybe someone else can weigh in on other treatment options. Good luck to you both!
