they are just going to town on the co2 line. similar to them nibbling on rocks etc. but Don might be right? i just cant see it

I would say there just grazing, all the corys I have ever bred they never "clean'' the surface they just lay, sometimes you can look from above and the females will be more wide than the males. @DoubleDutch would be the one ask.
