My tetras are still chasing each other and I have 7 of them? Why are they?

My black skirts are chasing each other how do I fix it because they are getting stressed from it?

What size is your tank? What are your water parameters?
My guess (if both of above are fine)is they are just establishing dominance.

That’s pretty much what tetras do. You get that many so the chasing gets spread around and not just one being chased.

It is a 40 gallon I can remember the water parameters exactly but they are fine.

More room and more structure. It's normal tetra behaviour. That's nothing one has to "fix" per se.

How many do you have in your school? How big of a tank?
Mine got a bit territorial in the QT, now it got better since they are in the main tank.
