No, I saw it at my LFS recently, and I'm not big into cichlids, but I kept thinking about this little dudeSeasoldier said:Don't know but it is stunning, is it yours?
Ohhh, that's totally what it is, lol! Thanks!!Demeter said:Tiny jack dempsy (electric blue?) I believe.
AquaticJ said:Definitely an Electric Blue Jack Dempsey like demeter says. They actually are sadly very weak and expensive. They have to sell them tiny like that because a lot of them die before they grow to reasonable sizes.
Interesting to know, that's a real shame. Poor little dude. At least my LFS is an amazing one and will ensure that he's going to a good home for however long he has left.coralbandit said:Electric Blue Jack Dempsey .
They were developed the same time as EBR ,powder blue DG and EBA.
They are one that has done the worst.[yea worse then DG!]
A stunning fish most arrive in sad shape and die young.
I know one breeder who is working them now in PA. Not sure he has fry yet or if they have even breed for him yet .
They are /can be a great looking fish .
Haha, yeah, I wish I could, but I'm not that big on cichlids. And I already have my hands full with my nine tanks, lol!PheonixKingZ said:Really?? At least some gets a good LFS!! Lol!! Why don’t you get the little guy? I mean I know that EBJD grow big, but don’t you have a tank you could spare for him??
