who likes the new layout on fishlore (came on today after a couple days)

I hope its everyones computer that fishlore has changed not just mine.

 

I like the new changes that Mike had made. It wasn't just your computer that changed.

I didn't vote because I miss the color of the old one but like some new features. I think it's a bit bland and the text of the topics blends in too much with the background color.

 

I love the new look of the forum.

you don't like all the new features that Mike's adding? I find it faster to load pages and get around now and I think mike must sleep less than me to be doing all of them.. it is a very similiar look and feel to me, just cleaner and more top-line looking.. but I admit I love the sleek look to things.

 

Is it just a skin change Mike? or is it a different forum engine?

I'm sure that colours and icons etc will come in time - a good forum is like a good aquarium: bits at a time...

yea, both great features. I didn't know google earth did a website plugin until mike added it and I love that since i'm always using that program.

 

Yeah I have to admit as soon as I saw the map feature here I rushed straight out and added it to my motorcycle clubs web site... it's so handy! I hope Mike doesn't mind us pilfering his ideas :-*

hee hee. Lots o coffee -> :;co The layout change is from the upgraded forum software - I tweaked the css a little bit to make it look as much as possible like the previous version. I'm mainly stoked about some of the new functionality we can play with in this new version. Hopefully we'll have better spam prevention, quicker mod actions, easier to add new functions, etc.
