Who Here Scuba Dives?

Wondering who else here is a diver?

 

Haven't dove in a while but it's one of my favorite things to do

 

Tried it. Couldn't do it. Couldn't handle the delay.

 

I'm certified but haven't been in almost 20 years=( once my kids are older (so I have money again...) I'd like to get back into it.

 

I was on vacation in the Bahamas when I tried it. I was the only one on the boat that couldn't do it. I was embarrassed. Lol

 

I wish I could my friend is a certified instructor but I'm asthmatic so no scuba diving for me lol

 

I have been certified since 1980, worked as a Divemaster and Instructor for a while in California. After joining the Navy I kept up with it especially working in Water Survival along side Navy Divers and after retirement I dove as a safety diver at The Ft. Rucker Helicopter Overwater Survival Training and Shell Oil. Somewhere along the way I lost count of actually how many dive I had.

 

Humble PadI Divemaster here with around 1200 dives I have worked as a Divemaster for two summer seasons Been certified since 2007.

Nothing humble about being a Divemaster, my number is 20536. The guys that taught me where in the 1000 range. I really lost track of dive numbers in the late 80's. Although when working in the Water Survival industry I racked up well over a thousand dives.
