I've got dogs (Murphy and Winston) a cat (Jake) and too many chickens. The only animal that's shown any interest in the fish tank at all is Katy Perry (one of the chickens my 3 year old named) She's not allowed in the house but my kids disagree with that rule... If she ever gets up there again I'll try and snap a picture of her perching on top of the tank but when it happened the first time I was mostly concerned about getting her off of there before she ate a fish or pooped in the tank!

My cat Simba gets bored quickly, so he doesn't really react to the tank much anymore. He was quite interested in it when it was new though. At first he liked watching air bubbles, then got bored. Then I got barbs and he kept tapping the glass trying to touch them - and the barbs would all come to greet him - then it got bored by the end of the same day. Then I got hillstream loaches, and he was curious again, and again got bored by the end of the day. The last change that caught his attention was when I switched my internal filter for the external one, which causes much more water movement - he watched the ripples on the surface for a while. He sometimes gets interested while I'm doing maintenance, if only to try to drink some tank water (exotic water sources are one of the most exciting thing in life to him xD). When I got the tank, I put a seat for Simba near it, so it can watch it, but he mostly just chills there, not really watching anything. Here's a rare photo of him actually being interested.

Mine does the glass tapping also. When I feed them she insists on getting some shrimp pellets too!

I have 2 cats (felix and milo). Milo (the black one) is the only one that is constantly interested in the tank. He prefers messing with the adf tank. He'll pad at the tank itself and if he's not caught from doing that He'll perch on the top and try to get into it

I have a cat, she is absolutely insane, zooming across the house and making this chattering noise watching the birds nest out the window. One time she got her head stuck in a dog food can, after we knew she wasn't harmed it was quite funny. I also have 5 dogs and 31 chickens and a turtle. Sadly, I do not have any fish yet.
