Who else is dreading summer temperatures?

  1. Dino Fishlore VIP Member

Hit 87F yesterday, about the same today.
These are mid May temperatures, not mid March.

If this continues, I am not looking forward to this summer.

It has been really warm here too, who ever heard of having to start mowing the lawn at the begining of March?

I hate high temps and humidity!!!

I want winter back. well into the 70s here in MA

I don't really blame global warming, but if you look at it the seasons have all moved a bit, they are actually almost lined back up with their calendar start days again.

I will neither confirm or deny that I am responsible for global warming.

I'm looking forward to summer, I'd much rather complain about the heat than the cold !!!

idk about the winter here was super mild with no snow :(

  8. pirahnah3 Fishlore VIP Member

I hear ya, wasn't much better over here, I'm actually a little worried about water supply levels.

Dino, we know you didn't cause this one, you were responsible for the light winter so you didn't have to trudge thru the snow up here this year.

i was just talking with my girlfriend about this today. we both had to turn our ACs on...due to pollen, and just being too warm, too fast. we're like...if this keeps up, what is in store for the upcoming months? at least i have a pool ;D

We had a super mild summer here in Texas... Last summer it was around 110 for so long... I dread what this coming summer will bring...
  15. jerilovesfrogs Fishlore VIP Member

veryyyy true ...sometimes there's a pretty fine line

I can't say that I dread the summer, because I live about 2 miles from the beach in balmy California. If it hits 90 we are all out complaining and moaning about how intolerable the summer is; same with the Winter. When it hits 55 we are all dying here. I don't know what we would do if a REAL season hit us.:;smileyfrog
