My Votes for Dawn. That Formation with the rocks in different sizes and colors just makes it. The Clincher is the plants. Again, that formation along with the rock outline barrier in the front just says, "who me? Nahhhh'

Big Boy's setup is quite nice too. Very natural, but I like order and Dawn just nails it.

Sry Big Boy. Don't hate me please

Hmm.. let me see here.

Big Boy’s aquascape has the appeal of feeling a little more natural and less, “someone put it like this.” I believe if he had used more rocks and plants throughout the design it would have been better. 6/10 score

Dawn’s aquascape has the appeal of order with a hint of “wild.” The rocks look as though they are the wall/barrier that keeps the plants from completely over growing the place. Like a forest is just on the other side. 7/10 score

Thus Dawn makes the win, but barely. I believe if Big Boy made a few minor adjustments and used more resources he would’ve swam away with the win.

No problem! I am happy to help judge fish vs people aquascapes! I believe that fish should be invited to aqauscaping competitions as fish are decorators too. Just like your Big Boy here.

I would say Big Boy enjoys the state of entropy more then the organized aquascaping. It's a good thing you don't have live plants.

That's egregious.
Have you considered corporal punishment for such outrageous behavior?
Spankings sometimes work.

I like my live plants, next week I get a couple of shipments in with more driftwood, live plants, and the rest of my fish to finish up the 150 hopefully.

It will, I have about 5 pieces of wood coming in. Between a drill and stainless screws I can make something interesting. I'm trying to work vertical somewhat along the back wall, since the tank is 24" deep. The 24" width also gives options to for pieces to stick out in the center but still leave plenty of free space.

Funny thing is I have no idea until it all gets here. It's kinda like a Secret Santa gift you figure it out when it's unwrapped. I aquascape randomly, place things here and there look at it and decide if I want to stick my arm back in the tank again. The beauty about this hobby is, it's ever changing. You can rearrange the tank when you want to.

Practice makes perfect!!! HEHEHE!!!!

And you keep a wet arm. That 150 I have to use a ladder and I'm still up to my armpit to reach the substrate along the back glass. The top rI'm is at 5' from the floor, I'm glad I didn't do a wood canopy with it.

Not as much as I use to. LOL!!! I let him do what he wants to the tank now. It is a good thing you didn't do a canopy.

The good thing about being a diver and doing some diving for a living if the tanks get too big, I'll just put my gear on and jump in to clean it.
