Yes he did!!! He does it almost everyday!!! LOL!!!!My vote is for Big Boy
LOL did he take the intake off the filter??
Big Boy does good work!!!!The above one looks nice. A little randomness looks a little bit more natural, imo
I put everything back after his water change to see what he comes up with next. Its fun for him & me!!!honestly, I like big boy's aquascaping better!!!! lol. no offense to you, it just looks more natural!
Thank you so much Neb!!! I like order also!!! It should be more natural looking in the tank!!! I told Big Boy and he gave you the fin!!! OMG!!! LOL!!!My Votes for Dawn. That Formation with the rocks in different sizes and colors just makes it. The Clincher is the plants. Again, that formation along with the rock outline barrier in the front just says, "who me? Nahhhh'
Big Boy's setup is quite nice too. Very natural, but I like order and Dawn just nails it.
Sry Big Boy. Don't hate me please
Thank you so much!!! We will work on our decorating skills for next time!!! LOL!!!Hmm.. let me see here.
Big Boy’s aquascape has the appeal of feeling a little more natural and less, “someone put it like this.” I believe if he had used more rocks and plants throughout the design it would have been better. 6/10 score
Dawn’s aquascape has the appeal of order with a hint of “wild.” The rocks look as though they are the wall/barrier that keeps the plants from completely over growing the place. Like a forest is just on the other side. 7/10 score
Thus Dawn makes the win, but barely. I believe if Big Boy made a few minor adjustments and used more resources he would’ve swam away with the win.
Thank you so much!!! We will work on our decorating skills for next time!!! LOL!!!
I agree!!!No problem! I am happy to help judge fish vs people aquascapes! I believe that fish should be invited to aqauscaping competitions as fish are decorators too. Just like your Big Boy here.
He definitely doesn't like organization!!! LOL!!! You can't have live plant's with these guys!!!! They are ALWAYS moving house!!! Big Boy keeps it fun & interesting!!!I would say Big Boy enjoys the state of entropy more then the organized aquascaping. It's a good thing you don't have live plants.
Hey Hornet!!! Hope all is well!!! I thought about thumping him on his head!!! LOL!!! Just kidding!!! I don't know if he likes to be spanked??? OMG!!! HEHEHE!!! He is a lot of fun!!!That's egregious.
Have you considered corporal punishment for such outrageous behavior?
Spankings sometimes work.
LOL layful:
I would LOVE for him to be the next Picasso!!! How cool would that be!!!I think he’s trying to tell you he’s the next Picasso, such abstract art!
HI Midna!!! He is large and in charge!!! LOL!!! Big Boy has beautiful colors!!!he's just too dang big!!! lol. I saw a pair of oscars digging a hole like that at my lfs too. big boy has such gorgeous colours!
He definitely doesn't like organization!!! LOL!!! You can't have live plant's with these guys!!!! They are ALWAYS moving house!!! Big Boy keeps it fun & interesting!!!
I hope it all works out for you!!!!I like my live plants, next week I get a couple of shipments in with more driftwood, live plants, and the rest of my fish to finish up the 150 hopefully.
Looking forward to what you come up with!!!It will, I have about 5 pieces of wood coming in. Between a drill and stainless screws I can make something interesting. I'm trying to work vertical somewhat along the back wall, since the tank is 24" deep. The 24" width also gives options to for pieces to stick out in the center but still leave plenty of free space.
Now there’s a pond and a bench for people to sit on in the aquarium
How cute that would be to have in the tank. Little bench with little people!!! LOL!!! Big Boy would rearrange that in a heartbeat!!! LOL!!!Now there’s a pond and a bench for people to sit on in the aquarium
Looking forward to what you come up with!!!
It's nice when the fish do the decorating for you!!! LOL!!!Funny thing is I have no idea until it all gets here. It's kinda like a Secret Santa gift you figure it out when it's unwrapped. I aquascape randomly, place things here and there look at it and decide if I want to stick my arm back in the tank again. The beauty about this hobby is, it's ever changing. You can rearrange the tank when you want to.
He really is!!! I LOVE to see what he comes up with!!! It's so much fun!!!Big boys pretty good at scaping, especially for a fish!
Practice makes perfect!!! HEHEHE!!!!He gets a lot of practice.
Practice makes perfect!!! HEHEHE!!!!
Not as much as I use to. LOL!!! I let him do what he wants to the tank now. It is a good thing you didn't do a canopy. And you keep a wet arm. That 150 I have to use a ladder and I'm still up to my armpit to reach the substrate along the back glass. The top rI'm is at 5' from the floor, I'm glad I didn't do a wood canopy with it.
What a good idea!!! I would LOVE to jump in Big Boys tank and go swimming with him!!! LOL!!!The good thing about being a diver and doing some diving for a living if the tanks get too big, I'll just put my gear on and jump in to clean it.
You would LOVE having one!!! They are sooooo much fun!!!!I would love to have an Oscar some day...
