White Stuff On Driftwood?

I'll post a picture of it in a minute when my phone is charges, but all over this piece of driftwood in my tank are these white lumpy looking things. Are they fungus? How do I get rid of them?

Looks like fungus. Probably from some rotting bark that's stuck in the crevasses.

Should I take the wood out and scrub it off?

It is harmless so unless aesthetically you hate it I would let it be. It will eventually go away on its own.

Ok, thank you so much. I'm not going to be really doing anything with the tank until sometime next month. Well besides adding fish.
