a week or 2 ago I bought 4 new fish 2 mollies and 2 Platies to add to my aquarium with my other fish. Well one of the Female Sunburst? Or Sunblast platies is getting round and squared. And she is growing a white thing under her analfin and it is a opening and its very noticeable on her since she is orange. Does anyone know what it could be its not on any of my other fish. And if she is Pregnant I want to move her to the other Cycled aquarium so I can atleast save a few fry. Any Help is much needed

Its Actually on both of em

Any help"?

I Suppose no one knows what it is

Good morning,

If you are having issues getting photos to load, chances are the photo is too large and needs to be resized. I use the link below to resize all of my photos and it's free. I resize my photos by 75%:

It sounds like an ovipositor to me - only this is a livebearer we are talking about. Does it look like an ovipositor - like on a female betta? Could it be a little worm?

even livebearers have what's called an ovipositer. however they don't lay eggs from it and it get very pronounced days before they give birth. I know, I breed platies, mollies and swordtails
