Hey I noticed these patches today and I think I may have saw them yesterday. Anyone know what’s going on? It’s only on this guy that I can tell. It’s a 29gallon/10gallon sump. Stocking is 2 clownfish, tailspot blenny, six like wrasse, yellow watchmen pistol shrimp pair, and CUC of variety snails and red tuxedo urchin. I just did a water change so the pictures are a little cloudy from that. Now staring at the spots, there’s a tiny part that’s attached that moves around with the water flow. Parameters are: ammonia- 0, nitrite- 0, nitrate- 10-20, phos- about 0.05, kh- 9.8, Mg- 1460, Ca- 500. This was all before the water change so you know.

Unfortunately the little guy passed away but any insight would be helpful in case. When I took a closer look, it seemed like the first layer of skin was missing and that area was white including the surrounding area. Could that be something was picking at him or should I be worried about some sort of fungus that may spread?
