White Lumps on Clownfish Question

Hmm..I work at a LFS and do the shipping/receiving.

I refused a percula clownfish that came in, he had three white lumps between his mouth and gills right next to each other. They were about the size of his eye, and almost looked embedded into the flesh and raised...almost like tiny eggs, pustules maybe? Pure contrasting white. I'm on a huge learning curve with the salties and would like to know what this is, in case I ever see it again. Any ideas?

A picture would help , but i would also go with some sort of fungus as shipping will cause stress and poor water and this will cause fungus growths in weaker fish
