Help! I just noticed this morning that my big old-timer Turq. Rainbow has this white growth protruding from in front of his fin. It almost resembles a popped zit. It’s not worm-like as other parasites I’ve seen before and there is no redness around or near the site. The other things that look like white dots on him in the photo are just air bubbles that were floating around. He has no other marks or issues and has been eating fine. Other than that everyone in the tank is healthy and happy: Well established 27g square with 3 Rainbows (5-8 years old), two Mollies, and a slew of Assassin snails I never wanted, lol. Does anyone know what this is or how I should go about treating it? Thanks in advance you for your time.

Well, never mind. Two days later it mysteriously cleared up on it's own. But leaving this post here for others who may have the same issue or if it comes back.
