10 Gallon Tank White fuzz stuck on betta?

Hi all! I noticed a white spot on the top of my bettas head a few weeks ago and it has now migrated to the side of his face. He isnt showing signs of stress (actually, his fins have grown out amazingly better after him nipping them) and is eating well (always hungry might i add). I think he literally just has something stuck to his face? Its a little fuzzy looking but i dont think its an infection.
He lives in a 10 gallon with live plants and a hidey log, but i did do a big change up in the tank after my shrimps passed away.

Can one spot in a fungal infection just..move? Also what could i do to treat it?

 

Luckily I've never had to deal with fungus (yet) so unfortunately I can't give too much advice.
You can try aquarium salt treatments or wait for someone with more experience to answer.

Uh update, the fuzz is gone..? Went to go feed him just now and it’s completely gone. My guess is that he either had something stuck to his face or maybe a fungal infection was starting up but fixed itself? Weird
