White fuzz/film on spider wood

Fiercebettas

I read it could be bacteria eating at it and that it would go away on its own, but it's spreading on decor and was I wondering if I should keep the wood, clean it, or throw the wood out! Thank you! This 20g tank is currently being cycled, the wood was used in a 10 gallon before it was put in the 20 gallon
Also, it has been in the tank for a couple of weeks now

I had something very similar recently where I moved a piece of wood directly from an old tank to a new one - it slimed up unbelievably at first but was fine once I removed the biofilm from it.

If it was fine in your previous tank it should be fine in your new tank though. I’d maybe give it a quick clean off and see if it stays that way.

Alright! Thank you!
