White Dot On Betta Fins

My Betta had this white dot pop up a few weeks ago. It hasn’t spread, but it’s visible on both sides of his body. When it first popped up, Pet smart had me dose him with Bettafix for a week and there was no change. He acts totally normal, no issues. Any ideas on what it could be, or what I should do?

He is in a ten gallon tank with 4 ghost shrimp and 1 nerite snail.

Water parameters:
Ph- 7.4
Ammonia- 0
Nitrite- 0
Nitrates- 40 (this was before the water change we just did, haven’t retested)

We do 30% water changes every week.

Is it protruding? Is it fuzzy? Can you get a close up of it?

It does kind of stick out. I can try to take a closer picture. It does not look fuzzy. It almost looks like something is stuck there but it won’t come off. My husband felt on it earlier and said it felt slimy.

Looks like a fin tumor. Harmless and doesn't affect them at all. Compare it with other betta fin tumor pictures.

After googling, it looks a lot like the other pictures! Will it continue to grow?
