I just got home from work and noticed a rather large white mark on my young pearl gourami. It was definitely not there last evening when I was feeding them.
It does not look fuzzy like fungus. It almost looks like the scales are missing. Would the fishes skin be white if the scales indeed were missing?
I've attached pictures.
In the tank is:
4 female pearl gourami
1 male dwarf gourami
5 male turquoise rainbow fish
6 highfin skirt tetras
3 blood parrot cichlid
5 kuhlI loaches
1 bristlenose pleco
3 otos
Parameters are 0 ammonia 0 nitrites and 30 nitrates (doing a water change tonight)
The only thing that has changed recently was that I moved houses and the tank is now on RO water, but it has been for a little over a week, and this just suddenly appeared over night
