    What's up with that?

Last friday, I added a new plant in my aquarium (so now I have 2 nice beautiful live plants in there!)
To do so, I removed my "castle" whilst placing it in and put it on the table.

Since I've put it back, the algae on it has been turning white.

    Is it:

    a) The algae was buggered because of being outside of water for...10 minutes?
    b) The combined demands of the 2 plants is getting to the algae?
    c) Something is not quite right..
