White Algae? Something Else?

So I have noticed over the past couple weeks that I have what appears to be white algae growing on the glass in all of my tanks.

I have never seen anything like this before. It looks kinda like the green algae you commonly see, but white and it's like little tiny specks, not fuzzy, but it does move with the water current.

What the heck could this be? Whatever it is, is it dangerous to my fish?

The only thing that had changed is that I now have live plants in all of my tanks, but they look just fine as does everything else other than the glass.

These are the only pics I have where you can kinda see it on the glass.

Sometimes white algae grows on new driftwood and spreads, have you got any driftwood?

I had a piece in my 29 gal tank for a about a week. It wasn't new though. It was already completely waterlogged and didn't even release tannins in the water. I haven't had it in there for 2 weeks now. This white stuff is in all of my tanks.
