Which tank? 20, 30 or 40 gallon

Hello all. My family might be moving soon to a new house. Very excited. Also very excited because for the first time ever, I will be able to have more than one tank! I'm not sure which tank to go with but I have narrowed it down to three choices which would fit my needs:
20 long
30 breeder
40 breeder

The 20 long would be a super easy, super cheap setup to start. The 30 breeder would be a bit more costly as it is a special order tank generally, and needing a larger stand, more expensive. Same with the 40 breeder except I can get the tank obviously for dirt cheap from the dpg sales.

It is however a rule in my household since we have a two year old, any tank I have must have a very secure stand and those cost more. I already called around and the 20 long stand is around 120 bucks and the 30/40 breeder stand around 170.

What tank would you go with?

What are you wanting to stock? For example if you wanted a shrimp colony 20gal long perfect. But if you wanted schooling fish probably 40 breeder

Well, that is a thought I had. And obviously any of those tanks would make a good cherry shrimp tank. Fish also appeal to me however. I do have a 33 long which is my living room display tank which has fish. One thing that would be cool I think is a white cloud minnow tank.

Go wit the 40 breeder you will regret not getting the biggest one u can. Also a very cheap and probably the strongest stand is cinderblocks and 2 pieces of 3/4” plywood 8 cinders and 3 pieces of plywood cut to the size would probably run no more than 30-40$ and u can get a small can of paint and paint everything
