Which subtropical fish would you want?

Hi everyone! I was not quite sure where to put this...a friend of mine wants me to stock a 4 by 3 foot in ground pond on his property, and I am trying to decide what to put in it. Whatever goes in there is probably going to spawn, so I want to make sure I try a fish that people would want to buy/trade/etc for at the end of the season. Of the pond-friendly fish listed, which would you want to buy/trade for/etc? Thanks

Gymnogeophagus balzaniii would definitely be my subtropical choice. I am not saying it would necessarily be best for your setup.

Oh how I wish I had the tank space to overwinter an eartheater! I cannot muster anything bigger than a 20H at most.
