Hey all!

I am increasing the filtration and water flow in my 180G loach tank, and would like some advice.

I currently have an AquaOne CF1200, and will be adding a CF2400 to the tank.
It occurred to me that I should probably increase the water flow as well, so plan on adding 1-2 powerheads.
The question is:
What GPH/LPH should I be looking at, keeping in mind the 3600L/h filtration mentioned above.

Justifications on suggestions will be much appreciated!

Thought I would push this back into view as I haven't got an answer yet.

I have added my CF2400 to the tank on Friday, and it's working a treat. I would still like to add a powerhead though, and have Zero experience with them. Could someone kindly point me in the right direction?

Bubblynutter I don't know if you got my pm but the cichlid forum has lots of info on them. People there seem to use them lots more than here.

Thanks Liz,

I got your PM. I just haven't been bothered to sign up to a new forum yet (can't read threads without signing up). I was hoping Fishlorians - particularly those with 6ft tanks - may have some advice before I start looking elsewhere.
