Which Neocaridina Shrimp for 50 gallon with angels?

Long story short, I got out of reefing about a month back and was looking into adding a few new fw tanks again. I ended up finding someone with a reasonably priced 50g (perfect to grow/pair out Angelfish). Got to talking to the seller and found out he's into reefing and is willing to trade for some of my old reefing stuff. In the trade, he'll be getting a lot of my old reefing stuff in exchange for the 50g, a 15g, and a really nice 3g rimless tank! I've been wanting to do a nano strictly shrimp tank for a while after having shrimp in a couple of my old community tanks. With that being said, I'm trying to decide which Neocaridina species/variety to do in this tank. I have the scape all thought out and it will have carpeting plants. What are everyone's favorite Neocaridina to help me make my final decision?

I like red cherries, they have the deepest color out of all the color varieties due to people selecting for them the longest. But in the future if pure yellow, blue, black, purple, pink, or other wacky colors appear I may get those as well

I think I'm between Red Cherries or Blue Velvets, but I honestly don't know what I'm going to do!

What color is your substrate? I prefer red shrimp on dark substrate and blues on light.

I’ve not decided yet, but it’s going to have carpeting plants. Getting tank tomorrow, just choosing shrimp first

Then I'd definitely wait with deciding on substrate color. Reds show up well on dark substrate, but blues can blend in on it, so they need lighter substrate.

95% of it is going to be covered with carpeting plants, so it’ll pretty much just be green

I can't help since my favorites are pure orange or yellow, haha.

Oranges actually ended up catching my eye at the LFS yesterday. They’re definitely in the running.
