In an hour and a half I have someone coming to pick up one of my two female krib cichlids. One of the females has become very territorial and picks on the other (and also does that funny stomach shaky “get away from my caves” move at the other fish)

I want to get rid of one female so I can buy a male (.maybe see if they’ll breed) but I’m not sure which one To keep, the dominant one or the other one.

Which would you keep? I heard males sometimes pick on a female until she breeds with him so would the stronger one be best?

Side note. Idk if this is relevant but lately the lesser of the two has grown brighter in colour and the dominant has grown paler.

Yea you got two females .
The red bellies are dead giveaways.
Keep the dominant one. They both look good.

I like the one on the left also but if you want to breed I would keep the dominant one. When ever I breed kribs, I look for a male that is larger than the female and a female that is dominant, but most of the time, if there mature enough, I find that kribs breed pretty easily.
