Oh cool!
I met my "common law hubby " of 4 years on a dating site too. We went to the same University, but likely would never have crossed paths unless we were both looking else where .

He has been the best thing that has ever happened to me.

I met my boyfriend of four years through my sister - they had been friends for years, and though we only lived a few minutes away from each other, we would have never met had she not introduced us. (They went to Buffalo Wild Wings and were going to a movie after, and there was an extra seat at the table so she invited me. I sat next to my would-be boyfriend, and it was love at first sight )

LexI and I met at work. When I first saw her, I knew she was gonna be mine. It took a few months to convince her to go out with me though. I was living pretty wild and stupid before we got together. She turned my life around.

My wife and I met on an AOL pen-pal site.

We wrote back and forth for a couple years. Then I visited her in Germany, then she visited me here.

Then she visited me here again, and we got married. It's been 13 years now.

I meet my fiancee by hitting him with my car by accident. He was fine seeing all was doing was backing up slowly out of a parking space. I got out to ask him if he was okay and asked for my number(I thought so he can sue me) and he ended up calling that night to see if like to go out on a date. Two yrs later we are planning our wedding for next October 2013 and expecting our miracle daughter in September.

I meet my wife of almost 11 years in a bar (Belfast), she was the barmaid, been dating since 1998, second time for me, I got married 6 days after 9-11, I was due to fly home to Belfast that day, she convinced me to go home a week earlier, good job, I would have missed my own wedding, would never have lived that one down.

I met my now ex in a bar. I was there to support a friend's band, on some meds that can't be mixed with alcohol, so was stone cold sober and a bit bored. He was there drinking Coke and dancing.

It was fun while it lasted.

My wife and her best friend use to kick the snot out of me on the playground in 1st grade. Apparently this was the way of flirting but they had these skinny long legs and I took a real beating! My family has known her family all my life and we didn't live but just a few miles apart in Virginia growing up. We dated off and on through high school then off and on through college - more on than off in college. We shacked up for a couple of years after college then married. We been married for 12 years this year. We have a daughter and a son together. Overall we have been together for over 17 years. Last year my wife was going through some of her things from when she was younger in grade school. A note falls out of a book and it reads "Nat loves Mark alway" Her name is Natalie by the way but the note we figured up was written around 1982 - 1983 when she was about 10 years old. oglove

Ty she is my miracle cuz I have Stage 4 Endometriosis which I had to have my right side taken out and with having that I had a 0.05% chance of getting pregnant. It took me 8 years but I am finally pregnant and overjoyed to be so lucky. I also got the best life now if on the ty days I would not change a thing.

I met my husband on the first day of college in 2001. He was the "odd man out" of our group and we actually made fun of him a lot. We had a class together one semester in 2003 and got to know each other. We started dating. Then he moved to Michigan and we did long distance for about 6 months, then I moved to Michigan to be with him. We got engaged on Christmas Eve 2005 and got married in July of 2008.

Ready. Ok. I met my husband in September of 1989, freshman year of high school for me. We used to ride the city bus to and from school, 2 different high schools. I saw him leaning against the wall at the city bus stop. He was so cool looking w/ his leather vest and long hair. I had to talk to him. So I spent the whole 45m ride talking to his goofy friend. We got to talking and I got off at his bus stop. Told him it was my stop too. We walked home together. I actually lived a mile further, but he didn't know.
So we ended up having our 1st date on October 20, 1989 and our first kiss. Here we are now, 22 years later. We were high school sweet hearts. We're celebrating our 19th wedding anniversary on May 1st.

Ok....I have enjoyed reading this thread! I met my Husband when I moved in next door to him. It was a connected duplex. He came running out to help my mother and I unload a washing machine. My mother was giving me the nod and look (wink,,,wink) thing! I was telling her NO WAY! He is too short! he is 5'7 and 3/4 (being generous) and I am 6'2" ......We became friends and were married 4 years later 1987.....three sons.....We will be celebrating our 25th anniversary this year!
