Where can I put a protein skimmer?

HI I am looking to buy a protein skimmer but don't know if one will fit anywhere on my tank because I don't really know how they attach to the tank and because I have a hood so It makes things tricky. which type of protein skimmer to buy?

Protein Skimmers usually go in the Sump, but there are HOB models too.

You might be able to use an external skimmer and run it in the cabinet.

Plenty of them around, Reef Octopus, Deltec, Tunze.
