But you only have one empty 20 high to work with. Uggghhhhh. I fortunately was able to get some pretty guppies for my other 20 high to go with the cherry barbs, though. But oh, my gosh - everything at once?! Why?!

What they had new:

Celestial pearl danios
Peacock gudgeons
Von rio tetras
Masked Julie cichlid
Small dojo loaches
Dwarf chain loaches
Pea puffers
Scarlet badis
Kribs
Dwarf jewel cichlids
Koi angelfish
Gorgeous guppies

Sounds like you've got a great LFS! I'm jealous.

I would get the CPD, peacock gobies and guppies Maybe that would cause a minI cycle though.

They were so pretty. But my new tank isn't up and running yet and I know the CPDs for sure probably wouldn't do great through a cycle. I wasn't sure what I wanted to stock my tank with either. So hard to leave all of the beauties... Did get the guppies, though. Got one male for free because he flopped onto the floor and they weren't sure if he'd make it or not.

I would be too if I didn't have a tank and money limit. X_X

Right? The other male looks just like him and the female has a blue iridescence on her tail and black spots.

Dwarf chain loaches, geez. I have been looking for those guys but I have not seen them yet either online or locally.

My lfs always keeps those in stock. My dream store is an oddball store. Large puffers, cichlids big and small, polypterus, ropefish, gobies, shrimp, archer fish, gar, datnoids, etc...

But this isn't the forum for those fish. If I showed off my polypterus you'd all look at me like I had three eyes.

What is the name of your LFS?
My Aquatics Shop has tons of fish, from Oscars, Silver Dollars, and even salt water types.
I've got a Peacock Goby from there.

Congrats on the new guppies! I guess I'm pretty lucky as far as lfs stock goes, I can find almost anything on that list here, in addition to a few types of wild bettas, wild kribs, and other oddball species.

I assume that was a reply to my post since you mentioned cichlids and gobies

Premier Aquatics and Optimum Aquarium. Optimum specializes in cichlids as far as freshwater, and premier does all around. The best store I found was in Jacksonville Florida; Natural Environment Aquatix. They had the best selection of oddballs I've ever seen. Came back to Ga with a Green Terror and Polypterus ornatipinnis.

Jealous! Then again it's probably a good thing, some of those are on my wish list... if I had another tank.

Same with my petsmart. Just got in some BN plecos, electric blue crayfish and endler guppy hybrids that look gorgeous. Whats even worse for me is that the guppy endler hybrids are on sale for two canadian dollars each (normally costing 4-6 dollars each). Good thing I'm upgrading my tank soon.

Same! Turned out they wouldn't be good for the tank I planned, but I've only been able to find them online.

Ours had ropefish this time. I'd love to see your polypterus, and I think a lot of other people would too! They look awesome!

Ours is one of these:

Very lucky! Usually ours just has a wide variety of cichlids and tetras.

Jealous! Then again it's probably a good thing, some of those are on my wish list... if I had another tank.

Get all the tanks!

The stores in my area suck!

I'm sorry!

Upgrades are always a good thing.
