When To Stop Adding Bacteria?

I'm just over 3 weeks into my fish-in cycle, and was wondering when to stop adding liquid bacteria?

I've been adding Top Fin starter bacteria, then switched to Stability, with every water change. My ammonia has been zero for over a week, and nitrites are slowly going down, hovering at 0.25 or less, and nitrates are between 5 and 10.

Would this be a good time to stop the liquid bacteria, or should I keep adding it until my cycle completes?

Since you can't actually overdose the good bacteria, I still add a few bio balls every water change....several months after cycle complete. The bio balls I use actually recommend adding a handful every water change indefinitely to keep the water healthy

Just make sure you have a food source for the BB..... If you have fish, your covered on that.

Yep, 4 lyretail mollies, one angel and 2 mystery and 2 nerite snails. If anything, overfeeding my bacteria, lol.

you're cycle is almost done, so you can stop adding now.
