I'm thinking about putting two angel fish, 10 cherry barns, and a pleco, would this be overstocked?

Can you give us some info about your tank? How many gallons/dimensions/filter etc.

In a 5-35 gallon tank yes. In a 40+ tank as long as its not a common pleco then no it wouldn't be overstocked. If its a healthy common pleco swing for the rafters. Lol

And I think a bristle nose pleco would be a good choice

BN pleco is the only pleco you could keep in that tank size.

Technically there's a lot more (gold nuggets, zebras, clown plecos, etc) but the Bristlenose tends to be the most common and least expensive.
