When Do Platies Reach Sexual Maturity?

I know that male's analfins will look female until they reach sexual maturity, and I'm wondering how long it will be until I can tell definitively if they are male or female. I have a hunch that out of the 2 fry that I have in the tank, at least one is female because they got bigger much much quicker than the other one and I've heard females are usually bigger than males.
