When Do Guppy Fry Start To Get Color?

My first batch of guppy fry ever are 4 days old they're are 9 or 10 that I counted and in their own tank but 1 fry seems to have a dark top and bottom fin already do they begin getting color at 4 days old? The mama I bought pregnant 3 weeks ago so idk what dad looks like but she had a blue tail

They can. In my experience, males color up first, and it also depends on what you're feeding them.

If you feed them with high protein diet (live brine shrimp) and if you do water changes often, they will grow up very fast and also they will color up. Males generally color up first. I think that's a hormonal effect.

I do water changes 1x a week I just did 1 last night with treatment cause a oreo got dropped in tank Haha also I have s 3 in 1 food thing so they get graduates powdered flakes and freeze dryed meal worms and also a couple live plants the nibble on water stays at 78

They also get a little of every food every day since they're fed 3-5x a day

I reared my old Guppy mixed fry this feeing schedule: MON-a small bit of egg yolk. TUES-Live Brine shrimp. WED-no food. THURS-Finely ground up Sera flakes. FRI-Live Brine Shimp. SAT-Egg yolk. SUN-FInely ground up Sera flakes. They showed color quite fast!

I think live baby brine shrimp is the best way to color up fishes. Feed them every day if you can.
