any idea when guppies get their markings or are they born with the markings already visible? and what age can they start multiplying?

from what i have seen on my fish is that you can start making out the designs on your fish at a kind of young age and they are able to start breeding at around 3 months after they are born

usually in about 3-4 weeks mine start showing color. Technically they can start breeding in just a few months, at first they all look like females but eventually you'll see gonopodiums, at that point remove the males and put them in a separate tank.
