When Do Balloon Molly Fry Start Getting Their Shape?

hello! At around how many weeks or months do balloon molly fry start getting their balloon shape? Right now they look ecaxftly like little regular mollies. Before posting this I did extensive searches on the internet but couldn't find the answer. Also I just read that there is controversy about balloon mollies, but I didn't know it was an unnatural deformity until today. I love them so much because they have so much "personality". Thanks in advance for your answers!

I'll be curious to see. I would assume that if the offspring of a balloon deformed fish had straight spined babies, then the babies would grow up appearing healthy but carrying recessive genes for the problem.

Hmm but then how would any fish farms be able to breed thousands of balloon mollies for fish stores?

They've been crossing deformed fish with deformed fish to mass produce the afflicted fish, but sometimes, a female could encounter an in store male with healthy genes.

Oh okay. So does anyone here know when they will start showing their balloon shape? I searched google for a long time and found nothing. Also even though I can't know for sure, she was kept in a tank at the store with male balloon mollies only.
