Hi
I have finally managed to get gravel clean and driftwood cured and have just filled the tank. Have set temp at 77deg. I am now going to cycle tank. I have sponge and ceramic rings and bio balls in both cannisters. Can someone tell me when I can introduce live plants? I believe it helps the cycle process so I am assuming I can do so now. Am I on the right track?
Thanks
Richard

Wow! Ignorance alert. Could someone please explain these things to me?

1. Cleaned your gravel - do you mean let it all get settled?

2. Cure driftwood - do you find your own? How do you make it? Do you get it from fresh or salt water? (I've been told it takes a YEAR!)

3. What kind of sponges and ceramic rings and bio balls - and why in cannisters? What are cannisters?

Thank you tons for your time!!
