I don't think I could pick a favorite...I like all of my fish for different reasons (my swordtails because they reproduced, my raspboras and neon tetras because they school, my danios because they are quick and fun to watch, my lyretail guppy because he's a survivor and so on and so on) . My elephant nose fish is my most expensive.

Welcome MaryPa ;D
I got my Koi angels directly from a breeder and paid $15 each for them, but they were a proven pair which makes them more expensive. J-man is correct though some fish are more expensive in different parts of the world.
The clowns I paid $7.95 each, and after knowing them I would pay more they are marvelously entertaining and interactive fish.
GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!!!!

My most expensive fish were my koi angels I got from the same breeder as Butterfly. Mine weren't proven pairs, but I ended up with 2 pair from the 7 I got. I really can't say I have a favorite, I love them all. It seems that each species has a unique personality, and I just couldn't choose! ;D
P.S. Welcome MaryPa. It's great to see you here!

I put Guppies and Platys because I have those, and then Bettas because I was going to get them and Tetras because I want to get them. I also have Otocinclus catfish but I didn't see them on the list. I could never really pick a favorite fish...I love ALL animals for a matter of fact.

oh, cool! Thanks for answering! Sorry for not putting down rams or that other big word that you said . . . LOL, I'm a begginer, and, I guess I didn't exactly hear of that fish before!
I am adding rams, so you can edit your vote, okay!
Omorrokh, if you are still there, I need help with convincing my parents to get me a big tank

Well by now everyone who knows me probably figures one of my choices will be (and is) the Betta and another the Otto. I have a real soft spot for the two species. I also think I would really enjoy Cory Cats and Angels if I had more and larger tanks and could have all kinds of fish. If I had to really get right down to it though, I just like fish except I would have trouble with fish that are really aggressive because it really bothers me when I have a hurt fish.
Oh well you have my vote. Thank you for giving us something interesting to think about. It took more thought than I had guessed it would.

No problemo!!! Yeah, I saw some pics of your betta when it was looking at it's reflection, and gettng ready to attack. They are beautiful little fish. In fact, they would probably be in my vote, if I didn't have such bad luck with bettas over the years . . . oh BOY!!! :-\
