Let me know what Your favorite is! I happen to prefer marineland biospira for freshwater though i heard they are discontinueing this particular product and its very scarce to find. I want to know your favorite and tell us all why!

I had great success with BioSpira, especially when setting up a new tank. Switched to Stability not long ago, just to give it a try. Seems good as well.

I don't know if it's the best but I use Tetra SafeStart for my bottled bacteria. It didn't mess anything up and I'm happy with it.

I use the fritzyme ones myself. Fritzyme 7 hasn't steered me wrong yet.

Have had good results with Tetra Safestart+ in the past and am using Seachem Flourish right now on a new tank. Used seeded media as well but everything is going great 2 weeks in.

I mainly use it when i start with seeded filter media, to give it a nice little boost.

How does it help with the seeded media and is it strictly ment to be used in conjunction with it?

Just provides a boost of the bacteria is all. The fritzyme 7 is mainly to help prevent spikes when adding new fish or something. The fritzyme quickstart and quickstart 700 is more for a new tank with no seeded media.

Ive tried API quickstart and Marineland Biospira and i get far faster results with cycling with the biospira. Havnt tried seachem or frytzyme yet. I love hearing feedback though so i can make a better decision, especially with biospira stock drying up ill have to switch if I need it in the future.

I see. So the fritzyme 7 would be more of what id need, i like to add some after water changes or filter media "cleaning", just to help things along. Good to know though
