I had 3 happy fish for a long time, then suddenly the two clown fish died and now the last fish is turning all white and it looks like lesions all over his body. Does anyone know what's going on?

Here's the fish

Sorry to be rude but this topic belongs in the saltwater section because that is a saltwater fish.

Don't tell me you thought it was freshwater didn't you watch Finding Nemo!

I foudn this on another forum:

There's a disease called Brooklynella that's also called anemone fish disease. just wait a sec, ill get my magazine

QUOTE(practical fshkeeping magazine=issue 12/December 2006, )

this parasite is a minute ciliated protozaan and infests the gills of the fishs skin aswell.

fish suffering from this disease will respire heavily, slough exessive slime and develop lesions. unfortunatley the host often succumbs 30 hours after this is noticed by the aquarist.

the best cure contains formalin and malachite green
